Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, accented lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 (head and shoulderplate). Comments: French, circa 1867. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque, original wig with abundant soft mohair curls, lovely antique costume.
