Bisque socket head with rounded facial modeling and delicate complexion, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading and darker-blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with daintily outlined lips, pierced ears, very full throat and tiny rounded chin, blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, all-wooden fully-articulated plump bebe body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees, antique blue silk and velvet dress. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest repair at right pierced ear hole. Marks: Huret 68 Rue De La Boetie (incised mark on back torso). Comments: Maison Huret, circa 1880. Value Points: the rarity of the model is accentuated by her exceptional beauty, the very pale delicate complexion dramatized by brilliant blue eyes and painted accents, rare signed body.
