Pressed bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted short curly lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde fleecy lambswool wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sie C 3. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1884. Value Points: rare model with superb detail of sculpting, bisque and painting, original body and body finish, wonderful antique lace and aqua silk costume, ruffled lace cap, undergarments, leather shoes, blue socks.
