17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume, undergarments, leather shoes, woven bonnet. Marks: Dep 7 (head) Bebe Jumeau Depose (body). Condition: generally excellent, old retouch to body. Comments: for the French market, circa 1895. Value Points: very sweet-faced bebe with closed mouth.
