Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig with elaborate coiffure, cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5. Comments: French, circa 1875. Value Points: very beautiful face, bisque, and painting of features, sturdy original body, original wig, and wearing exquisite antique rose silk and lace gown, undergarments, fancy tall boots, woven bonnet with silk flowers, turquoise brooch and earrings, and carrying wooden-handled parasol with silk and tulle cover.
