Porcelain shoulderhead, painted blue outlined eyes with painted all-around lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French softly-stuffed kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid-over-wooden upper arms, porcelain lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mme. Rohmer/Brevete SGDG Paris (torso stamp). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: especially beautiful painting on face with richly-painted eyeliner and lashes, original signed body.
