8" (20 cm.) Bisque socket head with dark brown complexion, black glass eyes, arched brows, slightly-parted lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, brown composition and wooden full-jointed body, antique dress, undergarments, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 50 12/0 Made in Germany. Comments: Germany, circa 1890. Value Points: lovely bisque, original body and body finish, the doll is presented in original cardboard box with illustration of child and the word "Topsy" on the upper lid and lid brim, and a pencil note "my little sweetheart" and the owner's name, Beulah W H (indecipherable).
