20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, brown glass eyes, painted lashes, thick brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, light body retouch. Marks: 252 dep 12. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1890s. Value Points: fine quality of bisque enhances the large eyes and expressive modeling.
