Description
3 1/2" (9 cm.) l. The firm-sided oval-shaped valise with brown leather cover has a hinged lid and is decorated with a raised thistle design, with silver clasp and rope handle, silk interior and containing various sewing implements. Along with a woven 2" Fanchon bonnet with tulle bavolet, lace face ruffle and black ribbons and orange blossoms, suitable 16"-18" poupee. Generally excellent. French, circa 1865.
