4" (10 cm.) h. elephant. Including a velvet-covered stuffed elephant in seated pose with tiny black bead eyes, attached ears, center seam face and body, and jointed arms which hold a wooden rod with three spools of thread; celluloid goat with attached pincushion saddle; fabric-covered needle case with blue silk ribbon trim; Warner's Corsets needle case (worn); tiny basket with tufted velvet pincushion; silver scissors, two oval brass cases which hold gold thimbles and threads; silk-lined sewing basket; and 1912 children's book, For Love of Mary Ellen by Eleanor Hoyt Brainerd. Very good to excellent. Early 1900s.
