Description
26" (66 cm.) Felt swivel head with very angular structure, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, all-around blue/grey eye shadow, strong nose, closed mouth, elongated slender torso and limbs, jointing at hips, knees and shoulders. Condition: fair/good, dusty. Comments: Lenci, circa 1920, one of the earliest designs by the illustrious firm. Value Points: the rare early doll is wearing original Pierrot costume of cream felt with black pom-poms, ruffled collar, black leather shoes.
