18" (46 cm.) Brunette wig with side part and arranged curls. Wearing tagged court gown of blush pink faille taffeta with padded bosom, puffed sleeves, purple velvet sash trimmed with petal-shaped iridescent sequins, fingerless white gloves, pink taffeta hooped petticoat, panties, stockings, pink satin slippers, pearl drop earrings, silver and rhinestone tiara, pearl choker necklace and bracelets of faux-rubies, diamonds and pearls. Excellent condition. Alexander, the doll appeared in the 1953 Alexander catalog as Princess Margaret Rose, model 2020B, from the Beaux Arts Creations series, inspired by the British coronation of 1953.
