Pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead with plump face, large cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with shapely torso. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Brevete...(partial stamp on torso). Comments: Claude Blampoix, circa 1855, who registered this depose for glass eyes in 1855. Value Points: beautiful early doll has lovely tinted complexion, original signed body, wearing lovely coral silk dress with ribbons, lace bonnet, undergarments, leather boots, coral necklace.
