Solid domed paper mache shoulder head of slender-faced woman with elongated throat, black painted pate, black glass "flirty" eyes, painted all-around lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, original hand-tied human hair wig with long looped braids framing the face, slender kid body, wooden arms and legs, painted flat orange shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original finish with one line of craquelure at side of throat. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: rare model with delightful flirty eyes, fine original finish, original wig and body, and wearing beautiful original costume.
