Description
16" (41 cm.) Each has pink-tinted bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, fringed brows, accented nostrils, and with brown mohair wig and composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5636 6 Germany Heubach (sunburst mark) (boy). 5636 6 Germany (girl). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, the girl with closed mouth in solemn expression, impressed cheek dimples; and the boy with widely smiling mouth, two beaded lower teeth, and having dimpled cheeks. Value Points: the wonderful pair are beautifully-preserved, each wearing its original costume, the boy in three piece linen suit, and the girl in white organdy dress with matching veil, undergarments, shoes and socks.
