Description
12" (30 cm.) Mahogany-framed chair, having rounded back, original (worn) rose and green upholstery with self-tufting, and with detachable wooden tray at the front which is held in place by matching wooden screws. Structurally excellent, upholstery original albeit worn. Probably English, early 1800s, the fine quality and rarity of the chair suggests its original creation as a salesman sample.
