Description
16" (41 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, large brown side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with two accent dots on lower lip, blonde mohair curly wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, slight rub on one cheek. Marks: Lenci (original metal button on undergarments). Comments: Lenci, circa 1922, the metal button tag was used from 1920-1922 only. Value Points: rare early model is wearing original yellow and orange vibrant felt dress with applique flowers, yellow felt shoes, wonderful yellow felt hat with bow at the peak and flower appliques. Few models are found with the metal button tag.
