24" (61 cm.) Composition head with flanged neck, brown sleep and "flirty" eyes, real lashes, dark eye shadow, rosy cheeks, tiny closed mouth, blonde mohair soft curly wig, cloth torso and arms, composition hands and lower legs in bent-knee baby pose. The baby is wearing original pale rose organdy gown with attached lace bib, matching ruffle and lace trimmed bonnet, pink cotton slip, pink taffeta panties, socks, coral side-snap ankle boots. The costume has original cloth tag "Madame Alexander New York". Near mint condition. Madame Alexander, 1940, the doll is preserved in her original blue bow box and has gorgeous complexion and hair.
