For 17" poupee, 3 1/2" shoulder width. Of white pique with tapered shape for lady body, square-cut bodice, and with two envelope-styled pockets and double-tiered lappets at the back, decorated overall with elaborate soutache embroidery. Excellent condition. French, circa 1870.
