22" (56 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, shapely poupee torso of padded stockinette over metal armature to allow articulation, bisque hands and lower legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6. Comments: Gaultier, with original body by Gesland, circa 1875. Value Points: fine quality of bisque and painting, rare body with exquisite sculpting of bisque hands and feet.
