Description
11" (28 cm.) The arch-shaped walnut mirror has pencil inlay trim, and is hinge-attached to a spindled frame which allows the mirror to tilt back and forth. Excellent condition. French, circa 1875, the mirror is known as "Psyche mirror" in reference to the famous mid-century French paper doll Psyche which was often partnered with the doll in order to show its many costumes. The mirror is scaled perfectly for display with poupees.
