Description
12" (30 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, large brown side-glancing eyes, grey eye shadow, painted upper lashes, grey lower eye shadow, closed mouth with accent dots on lower lip, curly brunette mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, slight fading on costume, moth hole on left shoe. Marks: (two original early paper labels, the label inside the dress indicating "Lenci made in Italy N. 111F"). Comments: Lenci, early period of Series III, circa 1923, with mitten hands and disc jointing at shoulders. Value Points: rare little girl wears charming original costume, her little stylish dress with applique black cat, matching cloche and slippers.
