Description
18" (46 cm.) Reddish/brown caracul wig. Wearing tagged sailor suit with middy top having black ribbon trim and red-embroidered "Mary Martin", white socks, black leatherette side-snap shoes. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 18 S, 1951, with original cloverleaf wrist tag and autographed on back torso "To Billie Love Mary Martin" (ex-collection Billie Nelson Tyrell Hollywood memorabilia museum). The doll was created to coincide with the Broadway play, South Pacific, in which Mary Martin starred. Alexander, 1951.
