Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with sculpted short brown hair, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, closed mouth with center accent line, kid pin-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 3 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1880. Value Points: bright-eyed little boy with slight smile, maker's signature, antique velvet costume and carrying early carved wooden puppet king.
