18" (46 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, mohair lashes, short feathered brows over shaded undercoat, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, very full outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, impressed dimples at center bottom lip and cheeks, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: dep Dolly Dimple Germany 7. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: the rarity of the model is accentuated by the most endearing expression achieved by dimples and laughter lines around the mouth, fine quality of bisque, original lashes, original body and body finish.
