12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, blonde lambswool wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Fre A 5 (head) Le Petite Parisien (body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1889. Value Points: choice bisque, original body and body finish, on the dear petite Marquis, in original elaborate silk costume with brocade jacket and tripod hat.
