Description
16" (41 cm.) x 11" 7" doll. A wooden box with decorative paper cover has a glass-window lid with gold paper edging which removes for access to the well-fitted interior having rose carton background edged with real lace. Inside the box is a bisque doll marked 1078 S&H, with blue glass eyes, open mouth, four teeth, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, wearing cream silk dress and owning a complete trousseau comprising original muslin chemise, undergarments, night shift, a second dress, cap, muff and various toilette articles. Excellent condition. For the French market, circa 1900, the presentation is perfectly preserved.
