Bisque shoulderhead, blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, row of tiny porcelain teeth, blonde mohair fleecy wig over cork pate, pierced ears, ball-shaped torso containing musical box, carved bone handle. When twirled around, festive music plays. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3200 AM 11/0 Dep. Comments: for the French market, circa 1890. Value Points: an all-original lavishly costumed marotte with well-functioning music.
