9" (23 cm.) All-composition with socket head, painted blue side-glancing eyes, closed mouth with rich red lips, blonde human hair with curly bangs and red-ribbon tied braids, jointing at shoulders and hips. She is wearing original red and white checkered dress with attached petticoat, white organdy pinafore, panties, socks, red side-snap shoes. The dress is tagged "McGuffey-Ana/Madame Alexander/All Rights Reserved". Excellent condition, few faint lines on chin. Madame Alexander, 1940, the doll is presented in original fitted trunk along with two woven bonnets, undergarments, cotton robe, and two additional cotton dresses.
