Firmly pressed and oil-painted facial features and hair arranged in blonde short bob with rare side-part, blue/green painted eyes with white eyedots, red upper eyeliner, long painted curly lashes, blonde fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, all-oil-painted body with stitch-jointed limbs, separate thumbs, defined fingers, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1920. Value Points: rare coiffure accentuated by deeply defined impasto painting, perfectly-preserved finish accented by deeply-impressed chin dimple.
