Description
15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with untinted white complexion, black glass eyes, closed mouth with painted teeth, smiling expression, painted jester decorations, wooden block torso with bellows mechanism which, when squeezed causes his eyes to blink and his arms to clap the cymbals which he holds, wooden lower arms and legs, original flannel costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 157. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1885. Value Points: rare little amusing jester with blinking eye mechanism and clapping cymbals.
