Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, Dehors neck articulation allowing the head to tilt side-to-side and front and back as well as traditional swivel, thick dark eyeliner, delicately-painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accented lips, ears pierced into head, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips, knees and elbows. Condition: generally excellent, few kid patches on body. Marks: Simonne Paris Passage Delorme (stamp on front torso). Comments: Maison Simonne, the prestige Parisian doll shop, presented the doll, circa 1870. Value Points: beautiful poupee with Simonne label, rare Dehors articulation, and very fine antique ivory satin ensemble and ivory kidskin shoes.
