22" (56 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with blonde sculpted hair arranged with deep curls at her forehead and back of hair, topped by a sculpted blue cap with pale blue ruffled edge and tiers of bisque ruffles at the back, painted facial features, blue downcast eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brown brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted pierced ears, sculpted blue neck ruffle with black "velvet" ribbon and coral medallion, old cameo stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms, beautiful antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, 1/4" faint original firing line at back rim of shoulderplate. Comments: Germany, circa 1870.
