Description
4" (8 cm.) and 6". Each is all-bisque figure depicting a highly characterized boy or girl, with sculpted hair and painted very wide open googly eyes with side-glancing pose, white eye dots, sunburst-shaped lashes, "O"-shaped mouth, and having highly detailed painted costume with embossed and raised designs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: from the Peek-a-Boo Series designed by Chloe Preston and produced by Schafer & Vater of Germany, circa 1925. Value Points: rare to find series with captivating expressions.
