Very firm composition socket head with textured painted complexion and facial features, brown eyes, upper eyeliner, lightly tinted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouting expression, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Munich Art Doll from the studios of artist Marian Kaulitz, circa 1908, whose dolls are considered the forerunners of the sought-after art doll movement of the next five years. Value Points: most entrancing facial expression with fine original finish, original body and body finish, and wearing wonderful antique costume.
