13 1/2" (34 cm.) Very firm composition socket head with textured finish, painted brown eyes in deeply-set eye sockets, painted upper eyeliner, tinted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: presented by Marian Kaulitz at a 1908 doll art exhibition in Munich, Germany, and thereafter known as Munich Art Doll; her dolls are considered the premiere creations of the German art character reform movement. Value Points: rare model in wonderful original condition, with very appealing wistful expression, original wig, body, and costume.
