16" (41 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, large blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and arched feathered brows, rose-blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, unpierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, hair-stuffed kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque arms to above the elbows. Condition: generally excellent, fine restoration to three fingers. Marks: Mme Rohmer Brevete SGDG Paris (stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1865. Value Points: beautiful poupee with original signed body, wearing antique lavender and ivory silk gown, undergarments, shoes, along with two additional antique gowns.
