Blonde floss hair with cluster of fine curly bangs, side hair drawn back into an elaborate twist of curls at the crown decorated with tiny silk rose buds and leaves that are repeated at the shoulder and hip. Wearing tagged tutu with pale pink satin bodice and double-layered sheer blue nylon skirt edged with gilt metallic rick-rack, blue satin panties, pink ballerina slippers. Near mint condition. Alexander, 1949, original cloverleaf paper wrist tag, rare color variation of the classic costume, very beautiful complexion and rich costume.
