Description
Of brown/cream/sienna patterned cotton, the lady's gown features a fitted bodice with stitched-down tucks and patterned cotton lining, V-shaped waist, full skirt with cartridge pleats, modified gigot sleeves with fitted upper sleeves banded by ruching at the elbows and forming into voluminous full lower sleeves with fitted cuffs; the gown is accented with self-piping and has hook and loop closure. To fit 26"-28" lady doll. 5 1/2" shoulders. 10" waist. Circa 1840.
