21" (53 cm.) All composition, socket head, brown sleep eyes, real lashes, dark eye shadow, closed mouth, brunette mohair shoulder-length wig in soft curls, jointing at shoulders and hips. She is wearing original sheer nylon yellow gown decorated with golden-yellow silk-like ribbons and streamers with attached yellow silk-like petticoat, yellow panties, shoes, matching yellow muff decorated with delicate pastel flowers, and has a lovely bouquet of matching flowers in her hair. The costume is tagged "Madame Alexander New York USA" and the doll is preserved in original (worn) store box from B. Altman, Fifth Avenue, New York. Near mint condition with beautiful patina of perfectly preserved complexion, original coiffure, fresh and bright original costume. Madame Alexander, from her 1940 Bridal Party series.
