Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, incised eyeliner, widely arched brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, six porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette hair in original elaborately arranged traditional coiffure under original coiffe, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8. Comments: Jumeau, circa 1895. Value Points: very fine and elaborate original silk costume with embroidered maroon silk kimono with rich embroidery, pink under-dress, pale green and pink silk trousers, original silk embroidered slippers with hobbling heels, elaborate and highly stylized coiffure trimmed with colored beads.
