11" (28 cm.) h. doll. Paper mache shoulderhead of aged woman with incised wrinkles, original scruffy complexion, black bead eyes, missing-tooth grin, sculpted cap ruffles under cloth cap, cloth body with wooden lower legs, antique costume. The doll is posed inside a glass-sided presentation cabinet, pushing a wheeled cart filled with various wares, notions, household goods, toys and such. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, mid-1800s. Value Points: highly-characterized facial model with original finish, fascinating assortment of wares.
