14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 (and artist checkmarks). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1880. Value Points: especially entrancing deep blue eyes, original wig and sturdy body, lovely bisque, and wearing original stylish gown.
