16" (41 cm.) Carved wooden socket head, intaglio blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, white eyedots, feathered brows, closed mouth with very full lips, blonde mohair wig, all-wooden body with spring-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles, nicely costumed. Condition: professional restoration by Frank Mahood (tag attached). Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan.17,'11 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1916, model 301. Value Points: compelling expression with deep sculpting around the eyes, very full lips.
