Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathered detailing, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with accented full lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden early plump body with straight wrists, antique schoolgirl costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 18. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare early closed mouth model with finest bisque and painting, original wig, original early body and body finish.
