Description
Of very fine homespun linen, the ensemble includes a long slim jacket with elaborate cut featuring angled darts at the front and set-in narrow pleats at the high-waisted back; hidden inside those back pleats are deep pockets (designed for the casual hands-behind-his-back fashionable pose of the young dandy). The jacket features a brown velvet collar and unusual button placement. Also included are the matching trousers with hidden pockets and stylish very full derriere; and patterned vest with homemade button holes, and attaching buttons for the trousers. To fit 40"-42" slender bodied doll. 9" shoulder width. 24" jacket length. 18" waist. Circa 1820.
