17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head with painted facial features, shaded dark blue eyes with heavily-modeled eyelids, thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the very full lips, two beaded upper teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique cotton middy suit, undergarments, saddle shoes, socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 112 43. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their art character reform series, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque with touches of dewy patina that enhance the characterization around the eyes and mouth, well-shaped double chin, original body and body finish. The doll has a blue ribbon award from the 2005 UFDC national convention.
