16" (41 cm.) All-carved wooden doll, socket head, painted large brown eyes with painted black pupils, feathered brows, closed mouth with very full lips, blonde mohair wig, spring-jointed body with jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, nicely costumed. Condition: professional restoration at cheeks, overall excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan 17, ‘11 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1915. Value Points: especially expressive face with entrancing large eyes.
