Description
The two-piece ensemble of tightly-woven twill in a blue/green/brown Scottish plaid features a basque jacket with fitted bodice and extended length hip panels with gore-shaped wide flares at the sides and pagoda sleeves; and a box-pleated skirt. The jacket is edged with narrow black velvet ribbons, and features hook-and-eye closure down the entire back. To fit 18"-19" lady doll, 5" shoulder width, 10" waist. 15" overall length. Circa 1850.
