Fourteen carved bone examples of highly-sculpted miniature furnishings, including spinning wheel (which actually turns), lady's desk with drop front and fitted with wonderful little desk accessories, hall etagere with mirrored top and having two carved bone flower pots, etagere whose shelves are fitted with a myriad of tiny dishes and vases, child's high chair with tray, potty chair with hidden chamber pot, bird cage with bird, corner chair, library table, tiny etagere with fitted shelves, tea tray fitted with tea set for two, cabinet with hinged door which opens to mirrored back and fitted shelves, sewing table with hinged lid and fitted interior with little sewing tools, and park bench. Excellent condition. French, mid-1800s, an outstanding collection of miniature furnishings with intricate detail of carving.
